Use of the Senate Public Financial Disclosure site requires acknowledgement of the prohibitions on obtaining and use of financial disclosure reports.

1. Read the Title 1 of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978, as amended.
2. At the bottom of the screen, click on the box to acknowledge reading and compliance.
Return to Help Menu- To increase the text and graphic display in your web browser, use the Ctrl '+' keys.
- To decrease the size of the text and graphic display in your web browser, use the Ctrl '-' keys.
How to use the Public Financial Disclosure (PFD) Query
1. From the drop-down list, choose the [type of query] you would like (Ex. Senators by Name).

2.Select a query button.
3. Most query types require additional input to refine the search results

| Senators by Name | Select the [name] from the drop-down list or enter one or more [characters] in the 'Last Name' field. The 'First Name' is optional. (Ex. 'Jones') |

Senators by State and Candidates by State |
Select the [state] from the drop-down list. (Ex. VIRGINIA) |
| Candidates by Name | Enter one or more [characters] in the 'Last Name' field. The 'First Name' is optional. (Ex. 'Jones') |
| Blind Trusts | Individuals with Blind Trust reports are displayed. |
Selecting Reports Based on Date Received
1. If no specific received date is required, leave the Date received range blank. This will return all reports received.

2. To select a specific date or date range, click on the "Enable Date Range" box to active the "From:" and "To:" fields.
3. In the 'From:' field, enter a [start date], or use the calendar to click on a specific start date. In the 'To:' field, enter an [end date], or use the calendar to click on a specific end date. This will limit the search results to reports matching the selected query criteria that were received between the selected dates.
4. To disable the date range, click on the 'Disable Date Range' box .

1. In the upper left corner of the window, in 'Show Entries' box, click on the down-arrow ▼.
From the drop-down list, click on the [desired number of entries]: 10, 20, 50
or 100.

1. Click on the [column heading] for which you want to sort the search results. (Ex. First Name)

2. To reverse the sort order, click on the same [column heading] again.
Return to Help MenuStep 1. In the upper right corner of the window, click in the 'Refine Search' box.

Step 2. Type in a [name] or [partial name], then press the Enter key.
Step 3. Search results will be limited to records with names matching the refined criteria in Last Name or First Name fields.

Step 1. If search results are displayed on multiple pages, the navigation tool will appear in the bottom right corner of the window.

- To move to a specific page of the search results, click on that [page number]. (Ex. 3)
- To move to the next page of the search results, click on the 'Next' button.
- To move to the previous page of the search results, click on the 'Previous' button.
View Available Report Filings for an Individual
1. Search Results list all individuals matching the selected query.

2. From the 'Search Results' window, click on the 'View Filings' button. All of the reports available for the selected individual appear.

3. To view a specific report, to the right of the desired report, click on the "View Filing" button.

To move forward and backward within the pages; Click on
or
button on the right or left margin of the document.
To rotate the image, in the bottom right corner of the window, click on , , or buttons.
- To return an image to its original position, click on the button.
- To rotate an image 90 degrees from its original position, click on the button.
- To rotate an image 180 degrees from its original position, click on the button.
Printing a Financial Disclosure Report
1. In the bottom right corner of the window, click on the 'Print filing' button.
- A printable version of the report is displayed in a new window.
- The images will be rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise to maximize the print image size.
2. Use the browser print function to print the content of the window.
Return to Help MenuAccessing Other Public Disclosure Information
1. From the top of the Menu bar, in the 'Disclosure Searches' section, click on the down-arrow ▼.

2. From the drop-down list, click on the [public disclosure website] that you want to view. (Ex.Lobbying Data)
Note: By taking this action, you will exit the Public Financial Disclosure website and enter the selected website.
